I am a senior at the College of Charleston planning to graduate this May with a B.A. in English and a concentration in writing, rhetoric, and publication, along with a minor in Communications. I have a strong interest in editorial work, particularly within lifestyle and travel media, and I am drawn to content that is both engaging and thoughtfully produced.

Through my experience at CofC, I have developed my writing and editing skills through projects that mirror real-world publishing practices, from drafting and revising written pieces to collaborating on publication-style assignments. These experiences have strengthened my ability to write with clarity, intention, and audience awareness.

My internship with Charleston magazine further shaped my editorial interests and professional approach, giving me hands-on experience in a fast-paced publishing environment and reinforcing the importance of accuracy, attention to detail, and thoughtful storytelling. I am especially interested in continuing to grow as an editor and writer while expanding my skill set to include graphic design and its role in magazine production and digital marketing.

I am eager to work with a publication or media company that values creativity, collaboration, and high-quality content, and that encourages learning across multiple faces of the publishing industry.
